The Southern Cross Transport Terminal (SCTT) is a private transport and truck terminal in Sydney, operated to provide warehouse and truck parking facilities, together with value added services, for tenants.
The 3.4 hectare Terminal is strategically placed close to the M5 and M7 Motorways, the Hume Highway and Henry Lawson Drive. It is within a B Double accessible commercial/Industrial area bordered by Newbridge Road, Governor Macquarie Drive and Riverside Road. It is located in South West Sydney at 30-40 Alfred Road Chipping Norton 2170 (view on google map) and is accessible 24 hours, 7 days. It is also in close proximity to the proposed new International Freight Hub at Moorebank.
Attention to traffic management and site marking is designed to provide a safe and orderly flow throughout all the Terminal areas. All tenants are contracted to ensure their own operations are managed in accordance with relevant workplace health and safety laws and commonsense.
The Terminal comprises 6 warehouse sheds, each divided into four units of approximately 240 square meters each. Current tenants utilise between 1 and 4 units, according to individual requirements. Substantial parking areas exist for all truck combination sizes.
A limited number of parking spaces are set out for rent to single truck operators.
A Caltex Diesel Stop Service station provides for all normal fuel and convenience items. A licensed weighbridge and Diner / Restaurant are managed by the service station operator.
Other on-site services include a well renowned Truck Wash operation, Truck and Trailer repair amenity, and a truck detailing and component polishing facility.
A number of furnished air conditioned offices are available for lease. These offices are located upstairs in the main building. Access to the site is 24 hours, 7 days.
